Job Requirements for a Travel Physical Therapist
- Meets with patients and their families to discuss, observe, diagnose, and treat physical disabilities
- Formulates treatment plan based on the patient’s medical history and in-person evaluations, as well as referrals and notes submitted by other physicians and medical experts
- Helps improve patient’s overall health, well-being, and mobility through various physical techniques such as stretching, machines, fitness, and therapy exercises
- Monitors and documents patient’s progress for discharge
- Provides education and at-home techniques to the patient and their family to ensure full recovery
