Scholarship Program PT, OT, SLP and School Psychology

Apply to the Med Travelers $5,000 Scholarship

As a part of Med Travelers’ commitment to attracting the best and brightest to our industry, we are currently offering a $5,000 scholarship (awarded in the form of a check) twice a year to current Speech-Language Pathology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and School Psychology graduate students.
We recognize the vital role that SLPs, PTs, OTs, and School Psychologists play in making our communities happier and healthier. We also understand the financial burden that comes with pursuing these advanced degrees, so alleviating this burden is our way of saying, ‘Thank You.’

Each application will require a written essay, which is an opportunity to share your life and career story. We encourage all entrants to be thorough and candid when sharing their unique stories—there are no wrong answers!

Judging Criteria:

All eligible entries will be judged based on the following criteria “Evidence of Academic Excellence and Perceived Potential for Success” to select 150 finalists.

Finalist entries will be judged based on the following equally weighted judging criteria to select 1 grand prize winner:

Emotional Engagement: Emotion engendered by the Entry.
Creativity: Originality, entry tells a story, tactics used, surprise endings, etc.,
Passion: Passion that is conveyed by the Entrant for the discipline and its impact on other people’s lives.
Evidence of Academic Excellence and Perceived Potential for Success: Shown in Entry documents.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. This contest is a trade promotion offered in the 50 U.S. to U.S. citizens 21 + who are physically residing in the U.S., who are actively, currently enrolled as full or part-time students in a graduate level (doctorate or masters’ only) Speech Pathology (ASHA), Physical Therapy (APTA), Occupational Therapy (AOTA), or School Psychology (NASP) only approved program in a U.S. accredited educational institution at time of entry. Limit one (1) Entry per Participant. Grand Prize (1): one (1) USD$5,000 scholarship to be applied towards winner’s education in their field of discipline (awarded in the form of a check). Subject to complete Official Rules. Void where prohibited.
